Today, we are going to continue working with FIGURATIVE LANGUAGE! Remember that figurative language contains words/phrases that do not have their literal meanings. They are usually exaggerated. We have learned 5 different types and you wrote example sentences. Then, you practiced identifying the different types. Now, you are going to work with 'All Summer in a Day' and practice analyzing the figurative language the author used in the text!
