It's Tuesday!!
Today, we are going to look at the three different plans the United States had for reuniting our country. These plans are going to begin being made while the war was still being fought. We will see what Abraham Lincoln wanted to happen, along with Republicans and Democrats working in Congress. We are going to use our textbook today to learn about each of these plans and YOU are going to decide which made the most sense for our country in 1865.

- Take out your notebook and textbook (if you do not have your textbook, I have a link for you to use.)
- Label this activity: Reconstruction Plans.
- Begin reading and taking notes on Pgs. 500-503
- Decide which plan the country should have used.
- The plan had to be one that you read about, NOT one you made up.
- In the box below, write which plan you chose and why.
- Remember to use 5 complete sentences, correct capitalization and grammar for full credit.
- Write in your Primary Source Journal.
