Happy Cinco de Mayo 8th Grade!
Today, we are going to continue with the chart we began on Thursday. Your job was to list 6 Achievements that Maui took credit for during the song in 'Moana'. Today, we are going to look at the other side of that chart. Open back up to your chart in Writing About Reading. You should have a list of 6 Achievements and on the other side, label it References.
You are going to read some more myths today and decide whether or not it is Maori (New Zealand) Mythology or Hawaiian Mythology. In the blank column write, Maori, Hawaiian, or Neither. (Only one achievement will be neither.) Then cite a short excerpt to prove your answer.
Here are the myths you will be using to find your answers!

Once you have finished, upload a picture of your work here using the new upload feature. If you're using your phone, you can click on "Choose File" and take a picture directly.
Remember tomorrow is Packet Pick-up Day at school from 9-11:00 AM!
