Hey 8th Grade,
It's Washington D.C. Project Day!
Today is the day to put finishing touches on your Washington D.C. projects and papers. Set a timer for 40 minutes as you work today. That equals one class period a day. If you take longer, there is no harm in that! (As long as you are getting your other work done.) Send a picture of the model in an e-mail or place it in the Google Folder that was made for you. Send your paper in either an e-mail or place it in the Google Folder.
We will start our presentations after Spring Break; on Zoom. So, plan for at least 2 Zoom meetings a week...one for Reading and one for Social Studies.
During Spring Break, try and VIRTUALLY meet up with your partner and practice the presentation. You can use FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts. There are ways!
To Dos:
During Spring Break, I also want you to practice with the following flashcards for the Constitution Test. You can do them alone, in partners, with your siblings, parents, etc...the test is coming and I want you to be prepared!
